This area was just a dead tree in 2019 when we moved in. We routed some of our greywater to it, planted a tiny piece of coral vine that quickly shot up into a gorgeous mess of flowers and bees, and have been adding other plants and seeds as they come into our lives. One was a candlestick senna a friend gave us. It started as a little seedling and became this majestic beast once we put it in the ground.
In 2024, the wind finally knocked down the dead tree. We'll leave it there to be part of the ecosystem. But we knew our coral vine needed something to climb, so Miguel put up two cattle panel arches. We're so excited to watch the coral vines engulf them!
