Let's Grow Together!

Hey! We're Cristen & Miguel. And we love helping folks grow their own food and connect with the natural world. Whether you garden in containers or a sprawling backyard, we have plants suited to your space. Our herb and veggie plants are homegrown by us and nurtured with love and care until they make their way to you. Thank you for supporting our small town farm. We appreciate you!

Frequently Asked Questions
Are your plants organic?
While we’re not certified organic (the certification process is costly for a small backyard nursery like ours), our plants are grown naturally without the use of chemicals. We care for them just as we care for our garden—with deep respect for the soil, insects, pollinators, birds, and all the creatures that make up a healthy ecosystem. Some growers use terms like “beyond organic” or “regenerative” to describe this kind of sustainable, habitat-focused approach. See our About Us page to learn more about us and our gardening practices.
Do you ship plants?
No. Not at this time.
If you have an online shop, why do you use a separate form for plant orders?
Since we don't ship plants and tracking live inventory is tricky, adding plants to our online shop doesn't make sense for us. Updating our weekly plant list and accepting orders through our form (see above) is the best system we've managed so far.

For plants, please order through our form above. Or just show up at the farmer's market and pick from what we bring.

For our herbal teas and other homegrown products, see our online shop.
I'm looking for a specific plant. Do you have it?
We are often extremely busy and may not be able to respond to individual plant inquiries unless they’re tied to an order. We grow a wide variety of plants, but availability depends on the season and when the plants are ready. You can keep an eye on our weekly plant list to see what's available. Our focus is on culinary and medicinal plants that thrive in Central Texas, and we always have a lot of cool plant friends that can be hard to find elsewhere. We sometimes have other offerings as well.
Can I come visit your plant nursery in person?
Not at this time. Since we're just two people doing all the things, we don't have the bandwidth to accommodate individual people popping by to browse plants throughout the week. If you can't make it to our Saturday farmer's market in San Marcos, we offer porch pickups during the week. We've also started offering some on-site events. The best way to stay in the loop about those is to join our newsletter.
I just bought plants from you, but I'm not familiar with them. How can I learn more?
We want you to succeed! That’s why we’ve created growing guides and helpful resources on our blog along with educational posts on our instagram page. While we’re always experimenting with new plants, most of what we offer are our tried-and-true favorites. They're one's we grow in our own gardens as well. We also teach gardening classes from time to time. Check our events page for details, join our newsletter.
